Pressurized filters for ponds combine great biological and mechanical filtration along with with ease of cleaning. Pressure filters can be placed directly beside or farther away from the pond and partially buried to hide them from view.
You can use rainwater to fill your pond, but keep in mind that it is very soft water. If you primarily use rainwater, be sure to check your pH regularly because it could become too low and cause serous problems.
