PondMaster ClearGuard 36-Watt UV Clarifier Kit
For Use with PondMaster ClearGuard Pressurized Pond Filters. Adding a ClearGuard 36-Watt UV Clarifier Kit will clear green, murky water in your pond by killing the microscopic, free floating algae that causes it, providing maximum water clarity and a healthier pond without the use of chemicals.
Ultraviolet pond clarifiers (UV's) clear pond water by killing the microscopic algae that clouds the water. As the pond water passes the UV clarifier, the algae is exposed to ultraviolet light which damages and kills the algae. Over a period of a few days the algae begins to decompose and gets trapped in your filter.
It couldn't be easier to install this UV kit onto your ClearGuard filter. Simply unscrew 1 of the UV access port caps on the top of your filter, insert the UV lamp & quartz sleeve assembly and secure it by hand tightening the threaded ring of the UV fixture.
