Flexible Heavy Duty Aquatic Plant Pots
Available in three sizes: 12″, 16″ & 20″ diameter
Created with the pond plant enthusiast in mind, these new flexible Heavy Duty Aquatic Plant Pots are a more professional take on our existing line of aquatic planters. Constructed from a non-woven geotextile, these professional grade pots are thicker and more rigid, which helps maintain the wall structure over time. The pots are still flexible allowing them to conform to spaces inside your pond.
Plants grown in plastic pots often end up root bound and unfortunately stunted growth. The fabric pots allow for oxygen transfer through the pot walls encouraging the development of healthy feeder roots for the plants. Because these pots were designed for larger aquatic plants, we included heavy duty nylon handles that go all the way around the pot, making it easy to maneuver in and out of the pond. The pots are available in three sizes and great for planting and repotting waterlilies, lotus, large pond plants such as Umbrella Palms, Papyrus and more. Experience amazing aquatic plant growth with these Heavy Duty Aquatic Plant Pots.

Body flukes (Gyrodactylus sp.) are a fairly common parasite found on pond fish. They do not lay eggs like gill flukes, instead they produce live young. They are found both on the gills and the body of fish.

Fall is ‘prime time’ for visits from herons. Starting in late summer, herons begin to migrate south where they spend the winter. They often make stops along the way in koi and goldfish ponds where your brightly coloured fish are easy targets.
