Our Cyclone 1 Single Ring Self-Weighted Diffusers are efficient and cost-effective diffusers designed for large natural ponds, swim ponds, waterways and large koi ponds. With their durable design, stainless steel frame and high efficiency fine bubble tubing, Cyclone ring diffusers are built to last, providing years of trouble-free service in your pond.
Cyclone 1 Diffusers are designed to efficiently break up the compressed air coming from your compressor and create fine bubbles with high surface area to maximize oxygen exchange. Once these fine bubbles are released from the diffuser at the bottom of the pond, they rise through the water column creating a strong convection current, pulling low oxygen water along with them to the surface where more gas exchange occurs. Oxygen rich water is then pulled from the surface back to the bottom of the pond in the convection current increasing oxygen levels at the bottom of the pond. The constant flow of fine bubbles produced by our Cyclone 1 Diffusers dramatically increases circulation and oxygen levels throughout your pond, leading to reduced sludge and muck, reduced algae blooms, improved water quality, water clarity and a healthier pond ecosystem. Thanks to the unique, high quality bubble tubing used in our Cyclone 1 Single Ring Diffusers, they produce uniform fine bubbles with minimal back pressure, maximizing the air flow from your compressor. With 31" (79 cm) of clog resistant, fine bubble tubing in each Cyclone 1 Diffuser is rated for air flows from 0.5 CFM - 2 CFM (14 LPM - 56 LPM). The circular design maximizes upwelling, providing increased circulation and oxygen transfer in the water column. Cyclone Ring Diffuser frames are constructed from durable stainless steel to provide excellent corrosion resistance and years of trouble-free service. The self-weighted design make installation a breeze, simply attach the airline and drop in the desired area of your pond. Diffuser Plate Assembly
Cyclone 1 Single Ring diffuser utilizes a sturdy ABS base plate to prevent the diffuser from sinking into soft sludge layers at the bottom of ponds. Our diffuser frames are constructed from durable stainless steel to provide excellent corrosion resistance and years of trouble-free service. The 3/8" diameter barbed fitting fits standard weighted airline tubing. The self-weighted design makes installation a breeze.
Fine Bubble Tubing
The high-quality fine bubble tubing used in our Cyclone Ring Diffusers is designed to cause minimal back pressure, maximizing air flow and oxygen transfer, delivering all of the performance of air stone diffusers without the hassle of replacing cracked stones or frequent cleanings due to debris accumulations. Virtually maintenance-free, our fine bubble tubing resist clogging and its flexibility eliminates the possibilities of cracking and leaking.
