Water hyacinths are very vigorous floating plants that produce beautiful lavender flowers during the warm summer months. They reproduce quickly by producing small plantlets radiating out from the center of the plant. Their intricate root structure provides spawning areas for fish and shelter for baby fish. A great plant for the pond to provide shade and improve water quality.

These Compact Water Hyacinths have shorter stems which result in a shorter and smaller plant. This variety still multiplies very quickly, just like the large variety.

Please Note:

• We do not ship plants outside of Canada.
• Hardy plant orders are generally available to be shipped from April 15 until July 31
• Tropical plants are generally shipped from May 15 to reduce the risk of frost damage.
• All plants are shipped bare root (without soil or pots) and should be planted into appropriate containers immediately upon arrival.
• We do not ship plants and other products together. If you are ordering plants and non-plant items, you need to place 2 separate orders.

Plant orders are usually shipped on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday (depending on your location) to ensure you receive your order before the weekend.
