Pump Pro-Tector - 12" Pre-Filter For Pumps up to 2550 GPH

The 12" Pump Pro-Tector protects your submersible pumps against frequent clogging. Operating pumps while clogged with debris is the number one reason for premature pump wear and failure. Using a Pump Pro-Tector will prevent clogging, overheating and pump cavitation, thus extending the life of your pump.

Pump Pro-Tectors are designed with a 2" thick bottom and side filter polyester filter pad wrapped in a nylon mesh bag with a drawstring. By creating a large surface area around the pump, Pump Protectors can handle flows up to 2550 GPH and will filter out large debris such as algae, tree leaves, plant roots etc. before they clog the pump intake. The polyester filter pad also provide mechanical filtration by trapping and filtering out debris from the pond, and can be cleaned with a garden hose and re-used over and over.

Pump Pro-Tectors also prevent small fish, frogs, tadpoles and other pond inhabitants from getting stuck against the intake of your pump.
