Early Spring Treatment Kits for Large Ponds
Early Spring Maintenance For Ponds up to 1/4 Acre
This year, don't let your large natural pond become a maintenance headache. Prevent it from becoming overgrown with submerged weeds or developing algae blooms later in the summer by proactively treating your pond early in the spring. If you are unsure what products you need to achieve a clear, healthy pond, then our Early Spring Large Pond Treatment Kits are the solution.
Our Early Spring Pond Treatment Kit contains the pond treatments that you need to get a head start on the most common issues that pond owners face.
All of the products in these kits are designed to work in the very cold water found in ponds early in the spring before other pond treatments are effective.

When cold weather hits, your pond or lake still needs attention. Water clarity issues and water imbalances are commonly caused by an abundance of organic debris from leaves, grass clippings, fish waste, and other plant material.
In the spring, when the water temperatures are too low for other pond treatments to work, ClearLake™ Cold Water Clarifier is designed to go to work immediately because it is formulated with cold water bacteria that thrive in water temperatures below 50°F/10°C. These bacteria digest organic debris suspended in the water column and on the bottom of your pond, allowing you to get a head start maintaining clear healthy water in your pond.
In the fall, your pond probably gets a large influx of leaves from deciduous trees that eventually sink to the bottom, adding organic matter that eventually turns to muck and sludge. Fortunately, the individually selected, beneficial bacteria strains in ClearLake™ Cold Water Clarifier work hard throughout the winter months to remove these leaves and twigs as well as other organic matter and fish waste.

Use a heavy clay soil or specific Aquatic Plant Soil when repotting your pond plants. Houseplant soil mixes are very light and will not provide enough weight to anchor the plant, plus they contain perlite that will float out of the pot.
