Black PVC tubing has a thicker wall than kink free tubing which makes it more durable and long lasting, yet it is very flexible and can withstand 50 PSI of pressure. It can be glued to Schedule 40 PVC fittings for more secure connections. Simply glue hose to PVC S-40 connectors with a appropriate PVC cement. Recommended for high pressure applications.The black colour prevents sunlight penetration which eliminates algae growth and makes it practically invisible underwater.
