At a Hydrosphere Water Gardens, fish are our speciality. Our Japanese koi and goldfish are kept in a greenhouse in holding systems designed specifically for fish. In the greenhouse, koi receive natural sunlight which naturally enhances the koi’s colours and promotes health and vigor. The water quality is regularly tested and maintained at optimal levels by filtration systems designed for koi and goldfish. The water temperature is always within a few degrees of outdoor ponds (mimicking the seasonal variations in temperature), which means the fish you take home acclimate easily to your pond.

One of the most critical functions of a fish's 'slime coat' is its role as a protective barrier against pathogens, including bacteria, fungi, and parasites. The mucous contains enzymes and antibodies that can neutralize invaders, preventing infections and diseases.

Pond Flocculants help to clear cloudy water by clumping small particles together so they can be trapped by your filter.
