Pump & Floating Fountain Screen / Protector
These pump screens / protectors prevent pond debris such as leaves, twigs and algae from clogging up the intake of your pump. They can be used with any pond pumps or floating fountain that fits inside. The drawstring top allows for easy pump installation and removal. The filter screen is made from a durable, fine nylon mesh, which is especially good for preventing floating fountain nozzles from clogging. A rigid spiral spine maintains the shape of the pump screen preventing the mesh from getting drawn up against the pump intake and clogging quickly.

* For floating fountains, we recommend using additional fasteners as well as the draw string to secure the pump protector to the fountain. We find a few cable ties (zip ties, zap straps) or Velcro straps work great.
