High Performance Pond Filtration With Built-In Cleaning Mechanism

The Oase Biosmart 5000 Pond filter is a multi-stage mechanical and biological filtration system packed with convenient features that make maintenance fast and easy - all in a compact package.

During biological filtration, the water is channelled through a series of high surface area filters foams that create a special environment by allowing the settling of beneficial bacteria. During this stage, harmful ammonia and nitrites are converted to nitrates, which are removed by plant life.

The unique filter design channels debris and sludge to the bottom of the filter preventing clogging of the filter foams. This sludge can be easily removed via built-in the sludge drain.

Built-in Cleaning Mechanism

Filter foams are easily cleaned with built-in cleaning mechanism, so there is no need to remove the filter foams. Simply turn off your pump, pull on the cleaning handles a few times and drain the sludge from the filter.

Distinct Filter Zones

Oase Biosmart 5000 Filters feature distinct filter zones and filter foams with different coarseness that promote the colonization of the beneficial bacteria responsible for different phases of the nitrogen cycle, increasing the conversion of harmful ammonia and nitrite in the pond.
