Oxygenating pond plants are key to having not only clear water, but also a healthy ecosystem for koi and goldfish. These plants grow quickly in the spring and summer consuming nitrates from the water resulting in clear healthy pond water. They also provide spawning habitat for fish and shelter for baby fish.
