WATER LILY & FLOATING PLANT PROTECTORS FOR KOI PONDS

Yes you can have plants & koi together in the same pond! Floating plant protectors are an ideal way to prevent koi and goldfish from eating the roots of water lettuce or hyacinths (often the main reason why they do not grow well or flower).  Also great for keeping floating plants contained, preventing them from getting pulled into your skimmer. The larger sizes are ideal for  the protecting the new shoots and leaves of water lilies from hungry koi as well as keeping the larger fish from uprooting plants. 

USES:

• Great for keeping floating plants Like water hyacinths or lettuce out of your skimmer and away from your fish.

• Just place the water lily pot inside the protector at a depth of 18"-24" and the ring will automatically float on the surface. 

• Make a great 'sanctuary' to keep injured or stressed fish for short periods of time

• When used with water lilies these protectors are designed for 2' deep ponds.
