Bioactive Filters now use open profile Bio-Activator Media (similar to Kaldness)
to provide a large active surface area and unrestricted water flow for optimal
beneficial bacteria growth for biological as well as mechanical filtration. The
unique design incorporates internal jets for agitating the bio-activator media
for optimal cleaning during the backwash / back flush cycle.
