CrystalClear® EasyTreat™ Parasite is a widely used material by pond and aquarium hobbyists and professionals for control of infestations of fish lice, anchorworm and flukes which are common in pond and aquarium habitats. EasyTreat™ works extremely well on pond fish species such as koi and goldfish as well as on commonly found aquarium fish species.

Anchorworm
What Is It: A swimming, mobile crustacean parasite that begin their life-cycle on fish gills then leave the gills to rest on the host body. Warning Signs: Visible reddish anchorworms, bloody spots on the body of the fish, scraping and flashing. Cause: Introduced by other pond species or new fish that are not properly quarantined.

Fish Lice
What Is It: A swimming, mobile crustacean parasite that is found on fish gills and body. Warning Signs: Red welts on the body, scratching, jumping, disinterest in feeding. Cause: Introduced by other pond species or new fish that are not properly quarantined.

Flukes
What is It: A translucent parasite commonly found on gills and skin and are very active in the Spring time. Warning Signs: Red irritations, scratching, flashing, fish may appear to be yawning to expel the flukes from gill filaments. Cause: Most all fish have flukes and are typically kept under control by personal grooming. However, sick fish or fish coming out of Wintering are very susceptible to mass infestations.

Directions For Use
Dissolve ½ teaspoon of EasyTreat™ Parasite in dechlorinated water for every 100 Gallons of water to be treated and add to the pond or aquarium. Apply once a week for a four week time period. After treatment it is advisable to perform at least a 50% water change and replace all filter media.
