Pond Aeration
Pond aeration is the process of adding air / oxygen to the water. Although oxygen can be added to the pond via a waterfall or fountain head air pumps provide a very reliable and energy efficient way to aerate your pond especially very large ponds.
Why Aerate a Pond? Warmer water holds less oxygen, so oxygen levels can become low in a pond during the hot summer months, especially if the pond is heavily stocked with fish. Aerators also provide an effective way to keep a hole in the ice during the winter, providing oxygen to the fish and driving out detrimental gasses from the pond.
We carry a variety of different aeration systems for ponds of all sizes. From small patio ponds to large ponds several acres in size.
